In 2018, Juan Felipe acquired an abandoned estate that, for years, had belonged to traditional coffee farmers facing huge challenges. Despite having lain idle for three years, he saw its immense potential and decided to revitalise it. Spanning 380 hectares, the estate, which bears a name inspired by its character, has become an example of innovation and sustainability. Today, this estate is home to over 21 exotic coffee varieties, making it a treasure for specialty coffee lovers.

Furthermore, it features a protected nature reserve that plays a crucial role in environmental conservation. Among the species inhabiting the reserve, the Andean bear stands out, an endangered species known for its characteristic «spectacles». The estate is not only a centre for the production of high-quality coffee, but also an ecological refuge, with a vast forest reserve and water resources that sustain not only the families who live there, but also the nearby village. Juan Felipe's vision has transformed this place into an example of how coffee farming and environmental conservation can go hand in hand to create a positive impact.
