The Producer

Marina is part of the 8th generation of coffee producers. Her grandparents, José Alfredo and Cacilda, both belonged to traditional coffee-growing families from the Tres Pontas region and were the first to market specialty coffees.

In the past, the founders solely focused on horse breeding, and over the years, after analysing the characteristics of their land, they have seen great potential to branch into coffee production.

Since 2001, the Bottrel family has exported these coffees exclusively to the German market, and it was in 2024 that they decided, with the help of Andrés, their sailor, to establish a logistics and distribution centre in the south of Spain, more precisely in Córdoba, to expand their business into Europe, with an annual production of approximately 3,000 sacks.
